As districts face unprecedented challenges, CTAT is committed to connecting the CTE community to learn from each other. CTE peers come together in an informal setting to share strategies and address challenges on an on-going basis. Roundtables will meet every two weeks for as long as needed.

NextGen Administrators   |  June - July   |   Virtual Learning Platform

Geared toward mid-level administrators, the Next Gen CTE Admin group is for coordinators, specialists and/or instructional coaches with less than five years of administrative experience. Monthly meetings include technical instruction, Q&A, and networking. Participants attend deep dive sessions at CTAT events, have a dedicated discussion group in ConnectCTAT, and access to resources.

New CTE Teacher Academy  |  Sept - July   |   Virtual Learning Platform

New CTE Teacher Academy meets virtually on the third Thursday of each month to improve teacher retention and instructional outcomes. For teachers with less than three years of work experience, 10 hour-long sessions include technical instruction on pedagogy and best practices, Q&A, and group discussion. Additionally, participants have unlimited access to a library of resources, recorded sessions in case of absence, and on-going support from academy leaders.

$325 for 12 sessions and includes membership

CTAT Winter Conference   |   Feb. 8 - 10, 2021   |   Hyatt Regency San Antonio

CTAT Winter Conference includes 2.5 days of in-depth training for CTE administrators and counselors as well as training and professional development for health science teachers. State updates and training from TEA are provided along with CEUs for approved sessions.

CTAT Summer Conference    |   July 19 - 22, 2021    |   Ft. Worth Convention Center

CTAT Summer Conference is the most comprehensive statewide professional development event for CTE teachers, administrators, counselors, and ESC personnel. State updates and training from TEA are provided along with CEUs for approved sessions.

CTAT Law and Public Service Conference    |   July 19 - 22, 2021    |   Ft. Worth Convention Center

CTAT Law and Public Service Conference includes training from licensed peace officers and lead teachers. Attend for professional development and hands-on classroom strategies for your program. This event is geared toward educators and others to build effective partnerships and provide students with a positive, professional learning experience.
