Suggestions for Distribution
- Post on district website, CTE website, counseling website, etc.
- E-mail to students, parents, the PTA or other parent organizations, advisory committees, local business and industry, school boards
- Send to community newspaper for partial or full reproduction
- Send to community local cable station
- Add a local CTE activities page to the newsletter
- Print copies for CTE Center, counseling center, CTE cafeteria table, etc.
- Ask librarians if you can post on their bulletin board, glass windows, etc.
- Make copies for the classroom
Suggestions for the Classroom
- Schedule a monthly lesson on newsletter at computer lab or classroom
- Students must visit websites and write a half page or page essay on what they learned
- Offer extra credit for an essay or project connected with the newsletter
- Separate students in group clusters and research careers in each cluster
