PE Credit Waiver
In May, the State Board of Education adopted an amendment to the graduation requirements to allow students to substitute certain two- to three-credit work-based training courses taken prior to the start of the 2011-12 school year for the P.E. graduation requirement. All of the new two to three-credit CTE courses to be implemented in August are work-based learning courses. Any student taking a two- to three-credit work-based learning course will be allowed the P. E. substitution for the 2010-2011 school year.
