College Preparation Program
The College Preparation Program provides opportunities for districts and charter schools to administer college readiness assessments at grades 8 and 10 at state expense. Grade 8 assessments are now approved for administration in either the fall or spring semester. Grade 10 assessments are available for fall administration only. Please note that home-schooled students in grades 8 and 10 who reside in participating districts must be provided access to the state-funded college readiness assessments at their home campuses (Texas Education Code (TEC), §29.916).
