Kaduceus "Hands-On" Career Training

Kaduceus will be offering a FREE pre-conference training on July 21 from 8:00am – 4:00pm every hour on the hour. No registration required. No laptops needed.
The Kaduceus “Dual Certification” Pharmacy Technician Program is a highly innovative program that prepares students, as well as Teachers, with the essentials to pass the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam as well as to become certified with a Sterile Products (IV) Certification which qualifies students to work in a hospital setting preparing intravenous fluids.
As a company who prides itself on “Hands-On” learning, Kaduceus has partnered with CVS Pharmacy nationwide who has allowed externship opportunities to participating students who are in the Kaduceus PharmTech program.
During this training, teachers will be given the fundamentals on how to facilitate the PharmTech program in to the classroom with proper time management, lab training, student interaction, etc. Teachers will also become familiarized with the new “Features for Teachers” which was designed with the help of multiple teachers throughout the state of Texas. These features include: Teacher Curriculum Binders, Online Testing, Labs, Course Syllabus w/TEKS requirements, Audio Pronunciation for Top 200 Drugs, Interactive games and, much, more!
