Certification and Training for CC/CI Teachers

This session provides certification by TEA for current Career Investigation, grades 7-8, or Career Connections Courses, grades 9-10, teachers. CC/CI courses are designed to provide students with the ability to make informed decisions concerning the world of work and how it relates to the world of learning. Participants will receive updated information about today’s labor market and new lesson plans they can use in their classrooms. Participants will receive TEKS aligned curriculum and supporting materials. This training is open to those who would like to learn more about the labor market and/or would like to receive the materials provided by the First Generation Grant. Only CTE certified teachers are eligible for certification to teach the course.
