ATC Training
Pre-registration Required

The Advanced Technical Credit Program, a statewide articulation program, is an opportunity for students interested in technical careers requiring postsecondary education to earn college credit while in high school. Professional development training is required by TEA for all high school teachers who participate in this program.

Part I addresses guidelines of the program, including teacher qualifications, the articulation process, course content and expected learner outcomes. Part II provides the opportunity for college-level and high school-level instructors to interact so that high school teachers will be able to enhance instruction to meet college-level instruction.

One hour for each course taught is required of high school teachers. A schedule for Parts I and II will be provided during the Part I session.
