K-8 Career Awareness and Exploration

Coppell ISD developed a program called ‘Texans Town’ that is a K-8 model of career awareness that lays the foundation for high school programs of study that integrate rigorous academic and technical coursework and college readiness. Increased enrollment in career and technical programs, especially in STEM courses, effectively requiring the high school to increase the number of engineering classes offered from two to eight.
